A short report of the pages and process
I started the oblig by drawing up low fidelity wireframes, to see how I wanted my page to look and to make it easier for myself. Here I could see how the page would look like with different layouts, without spending a lot of time making different code and switching back and forth with different idea.
The first thing I did was creating the header and footer with the mobile size in mind. For the footer for pc screen I decided to divide it info two parts to make it more tidy, however, for the mobile version I wanted to keep it in one.
For the main page I wanted to divide the information info different boxes to give a good overview of all of them together, but also for it to be divided into different ones.
What I forgot in the beginning was to different layout sizes, and therefore started off by making everything for pc screens. I bumped into several problems, and therefore decided to start over and use things I had made that worked. Now I could start off with the mobile version and then adjust the code to fit with bigger screens. The boxes I have made in the page as all responsive, as well as the grids. The size of them will be adjusted according to the size of the page.
I decided to use a header background-image to give and overview of what this page was about and feel like this image suited it well. The other images used to convey the same message. My chosen font is Montserrat, I have chosen this font because I think it is very readable on screen. I have chosen the color green as a main color in my page. In the beginning I had a different color, but then I changed it to green. This is because the color of the UN goal is green, and I thought this would be a good fit.
What I used the most time with, was to come up with a good game that could try to involve kids in thinking out this UN goal. I made several different games before I was satisfied with the final result. I now feel like this game can be both fun and educational, which is something I wanted.
My target audience can be different ages, because the ladder game has no age limit. I think all students from the age of 8+ will understand the point with the different numbers on the dice. Here the point is to show them that people with different preconditions will probably have different outcomes when trying to reach a goal.
What I found most difficult in this oblig was the use of flex and grid, this I because I had not used it a lot before, and therefore had to spend a lot of time trying to understand everything about it. If I were to do the oblig again, I would try to implement some animations.
In the ‘form’ part of the oblig I have used some 'br', this was after getting the green light to use this to tidy the form.
